today is the day where i offer the 聘金 to my mother-in-law. she was rather resistance to me giving her ang paos as i have two in my hands: one is to 'thank' her for bringing dear up and the other is the 聘金. she happily accepted the 'thank you' ang pao but she insisted returning the 聘金 although we tried to resist her as well.. haizzz.. we should really have given her more in the other one... never mind, we can always pack her big ang paos during chinese new year and her birthday =)
we also had a full house for the food tasting at holiday inn. generally the food is average except for the spinach with sea cucumber as well as the brocolli with shimeiji mushrooms and yam paste which are really good. made a few comments and requested some changes to the menu, which we hope will be better for the actual day..
another task done, so next will be the final fit and collection of photo album =)
