been to many shops and most if not all dun recommend fridge from LG and samsung coz the quality seems to be not that good. toshiba has high energy consumption. fisher & paykal is on the high side + after sales service not that good. most commonly recommended are mitsubishi electric, hitachi and sharp.
after analysing the energy consumption and the space and design, i've finally decided on hitachi R-Z410AM. pretty decent capacity of 402 litre gross/335 litre nett yet it is not energy hungry as compared to its counterparts from toshiba and LG. inside the shelves are all tempered glass and is even equipped with nano technology (although i don't really believe in all these technical terms)!
