where to host our solemnisation ceremony?

headache ah... headache...!!

we have searched online for places to ROM and have sent over 20 emails to various restaurants, hotels, clubs, etc.. most are charging us sky high prices, some do not entertain such a function.. as the date we chosen is a saturday and we prefer evening, its going to be very costly to host it @ hotels. as such we have shortlisted the following:

a. stardus @ river valley
b. dallas @ clarke quay
c. peony jade @ clarke quay
d. rendevous @ orchard
e. yum cha @ chinatown

after 3 days of walking around:

we have difficulty contacting the representatives from stardus as they are either on leave or missing in action..

dallas seems to be a nice place as its directly facing singapore river. however it serves western food so our parents may not like the idea as they are still very traditional.

peony jade was already booked by others for the nite..

rendevous is not bad a place.. but only tea menu available..
so yum cha is our only hope....
