fly kite @ marina south

today is a sudden change of weather as compared to the heavy downpours for the past few days so me and dear tried out something which we still have yet to try: fly kite.

so we go down to marina south and got a really expensive kite there for $2.50. although its only $2.50, but this is way too much for something that only costs less than $0.50.. no choice, that is the only kite shop around the vicinity so the boss exercises his monopoly power..

today just isn't our day. although its not raining, the field is just so wet! its yucky on the feet to walk on the muddy field. if that is not bad enough, there simply isn't any wind! arrrghhh!! i've been flying kite for so long and its really so difficult to fly one today.. no matter how hard we try, the kite simply just dun want to float up. to make things worst, the head of the kite is too heavy to fly properly after dipping itself into the muddy and wet field..

nevermind, we will try again another time! we will make it the next round =)
