our story..: 3rd jan.. last day in taipei..

03/01:
last day in taipei and many unforeseen events all happened on the same day..

1. woke up late
we are supposed to wake up at 8am for our complimentary breakfast in the hostel cafeteria but we only woke up at 930am! (p/s: breakfast will be served only till 9am) no choice, we have to go out to the 士林 market for food, and starbucks is the only one that looks interesting enough..

2. rain
to make things worst, its raining... =/

as our hostel is just at the bottom of "the grand hotel" which is really very nice, it will be a waste not to take a pic there..

3. almost missed the flight back
our flight was 625pm and we reached the airport at 430pm. after check-in we decide to get some food-stuffs back and have our dinner before our flight. by the time we are ready its about 545pm and every immigration counter is having a long queue! damm.. thats not all, we suay suay kena the queue where there is a 'religious' figure that took at least 10mins before he was cleared. TMD!

now the time is about 6pm. we are 5 mins away from the check-in time.

to make things worst, the fellow behind the counter is FUCKING SLOW! he took at least 3 times the time required than other counters to clear!! really is fucking suay.. even those taiwanese queueing behind us are complaining that he is really very very slow..

by the time we clear the immigration counter its already 620pm.. and numerous calls have been made over the PA system..

i tell u.. its the first time (and i hope its the last time) that i'm running for my life to catch a flight.. never run till so siong before..

so moral of the story:
1. dun queue behind any 'religious figure'
2. dun queue behind the counter governed by an idiot

time for home sweet home after all the excitment... =)
